My current transaxle has failed after only 220 hours. Will the K66 last longer?

The K66 is completely serviceable and much more robust than the K46 you are replacing. Of course, we cannot predict how long the K66 will last; however, if serviced as recommended, it will likely last as long as you wish to keep the tractor. Rebuild kits, idler pulley sets and replacement drive belts are available here.

Why does my tractor model require a foot control conversion?

The K66 transaxle features a “return to neutral” logic that makes hand control operation more difficult and a potential safety hazard. RJR Tractor, LLC requires a foot control conversion for all tractors with factory hand controls.
